About me

Hi, I'm Purdey! Welcome on my website :)

I have been working in tech environment for four beautiful years in two great companies where I fell in love with the “Startup Spirit”.

I worked for 1000mercis group (also named Numberly) for a year and then for three more years in Dailymotion as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant.

My job position allowed me to meet fantastic people who shared their passion for their jobs.

As an Assistant, I was a bysander of the work they accomplished every day on the product.

That’s why after one year of coding on my free time, I decided to start my new career as a Front-End Developer.

I dedicate as much time as possible to learn development and I want to participate in challenging projects and on great products!

I am currently working at Beauté Privée, a french pureplayer company of private sale club dedicated to beauty and well being as a Developer Front-End.

Ecommerce world is a really great place to improve my skills as it has its own specifities

In details missions were :

  • the responsive refactoring of the website
  • improvement of the front environment development (implement a package manager, task runner, bundler, transpiler)
  • integration of templates winner from ab testing process
  • html5 and css 3 harmonization
  • report regarding best practices in ecommerce environnement (scalability, SEO, performance)

School Projects

During my Bachelor's Degree, I worked on various projects in JavaScript, jQuery and Angularjs

My main project is 'HaveYouSin?' is a responsive web app hocked to the movie database (TMDB) API. It allows you to receive à feed of content (movie and TVshows) to add in a 'to watch list'.

When you've seen it, you can add it to your favorite list, or only on your list of watched content.

For this project I used : materialize css framework, Angularjs, Webpack 3, TMDB API (v4 with Bearer tokens).

Personnal projects

My present coding free time is about improving my skills in algorithms, learn Reactjs and Redux.

I plan to refactor my portfolio and HaveYouSin with Reactjs.
